All reports of sexual violence will be thoroughly and impartially investigated by trained personnel. Investigations will maintain confidentiality to the extent possible and ensure fairness for all parties involved.
Individuals found to have committed acts of sexual violence will face disciplinary action, which may include suspension, termination, or legal action, depending on the severity of the incident.
Both the complainant and the respondent have the right to appeal the outcome of an investigation or disciplinary action. Appeals must be submitted in writing within a specified time frame and will be reviewed by an independent panel.
Knowingly making false statements or allegations regarding sexual violence is a serious offense. Individuals who engage in such behavior will face appropriate disciplinary measures.
Retaliation against individuals who report sexual violence, participate in an investigation, or support victims is strictly prohibited. Any form of reprisal will be met with disciplinary action.
This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with legal and institutional requirements. Feedback from students, staff, and stakeholders will be considered in the review process.
